Meet Connor, our Project Management Intern. He is from Hickory, NC and is studying Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at NC State.

Last Thursday, our summer interns hosted Kickback For A Cause, a fundraiser supporting NC GreenPower's Solar + Schools program. The interns worked as a team to plan and execute the event and ended up raising over $2,000 for their cause! Thank you to everyone who donated or participated to make this event possible and thank you to our interns for putting on such a fun and inspiring event.

Meet Heather, one of our Environmental Field Interns. She is from Mooresville, NC and is studying Environmental Science at Appalachian State University.

Meet Andrew, our Electrical Engineering Intern. He is from Greenville, NC and is studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State.

Meet Joseph, one of our Finance Interns. He is from Raleigh, NC and is studying Statistics and Analytics at UNC Chapel Hill.

Meet Caleb, our Performance Analytics Intern. He is from Asheville, NC and is studying Computer Science at Appalachian State.

Last week, we participated in the Lighthouse Solar Energy Camp with Halifax Community College! Throughout the week, rising juniors and seniors in high school participated in safety training, tools and equipment training, electricity education, site visits and interview and resume practice. At the end of the program, students have the qualifications necessary to enter the workforce and have the experience to narrow down the kinds of positions they are interested in pursuing further within the solar industry!

Meet Ho Shing, one of our Engineering Interns. He is from Hong Kong, China and is studying Mechanical Engineering at Boston University.
