Wonder Connection brings science and nature activities to hospitalized kids and teens in order to engage and empower them and bring them joy.

Wonder Connection is a donor-funded project of the nonprofit SEE (Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs). Wonder Connection gives hospitalized kids and teens an opportunity to learn and be creative in the midst of a difficult time. We celebrate them for the creative and interesting youth that they are while giving them opportunities to build science process skills and enthusiasm for science and nature.

"This instant snow is the coolest thing I have ever made!"

A kid told me this yesterday and it surprised me, because he's obviously quite a creative kid. :)

We had fun looking at pumpkin pulp and seeds under the microscope and decorating pumpkins at the hospital yesterday( UNC Psychiatry ). Check out these adorable pumpkins a couple of the teens decorated!

Special thanks to everyone who has supported our fall fundraiser! We're almost halfway to our goal!

Katie learned a lot from the sessions she attended this summer- they have links to virtual classes as well as other resources on their website.

Take your learning beyond just 1 day or 1 month each year: https://outdoorlearning.com/indigenous-learning-resources-usa/
