We strengthen the research training environment and support biomedical PhD students and their successful transition to bioscience careers.
Follow our programming and connect with our community - www.med.unc.edu/imsd. We aim to provide our URG students with the individualized training – academic support, professional development, community, and mentorship – they need to ensure timely graduation and become self-confident, highly competitive scientists. Our community of over 70 scholars meets regularly for socials and lunches that promote community cohesion and provide opportunities for networking and scientific engagement in a relaxed environment.
