We'd like to thank Chapel of the Cross for hosting Kramden's latest donation drive last Saturday! The turnout from the community was great, and they donated a variety of devices for us to refurbish. We also had a surprise visit from a very friendly dog named Penny!

Today, we'd like to spotlight Nadel Comper, our Lead Technician at Kramden! Nadel is a huge asset to our day-to-day operations, with duties ranging from tech support to sales planning. She joined Kramden's team in 2022 as a Production Intern during the final semester of her Applied Sciences degree, and has come to be a key part of our tech team ever since.

Outside of work, Nadel enjoys crafting and playing games, especially farming simulators like Stardew Valley. Her craft of choice is crocheting blankets, and she is working on a huge project this year!

Earlier today, Kramden joined the Durham Hosiery Mill, NC Central University and many other organizations at the Mill's Senior Safety Day! The event focused on teaching seniors how to stay safe day-to-day, with Kramden focusing on staying secure and informed digitally. We enjoyed seeing all the smiling faces today, and thank you again for having us!

We had our first Geek-A-Thon of the month yesterday! The Digital Connectors volunteers helped spec devices and sort equipment, with our Super Geeks being there to help guide them and answer any questions they had along the way.

Visit www.kramden.org/volunteer to learn more about Geek-A-Thons and other volunteering opportunities!

Part of the joy of what we do is hearing about the ways we impact people's lives, whether that be class participants, device recipients, donors, and even our staff! This heartwarming message comes from a Computer Basics class participant at BCCC, and is one of many we've been told over the years.
