Perhaps our biggest Good Food Awards wins ever...for two very different lagers.

At Fullsteam, we've spent 15+ years advocating that truly local craft beer should be grounded in local agriculture.

This year, we're honored to have two locally sourced lagers recognized as Good Food Award Winners:

๐๐€๐˜๐‚๐‡๐„๐‚๐Š ๐๐ˆ๐‹๐’๐๐„๐‘

Brewed with Pilsner malt from Epiphany Craft Malt and Cumberland corn malted by Riverbend Malt House, Paycheck Pilsner stands alongside GFA-winning lagers brewed with Maine-grown and Colorado-grown grain.

This award belongs to the entire Southern supply chain that makes Paycheck possible...from Plow to Pint.

Certified Regenifiedยฎ ยท 100% NC Malt

With this win, Reset: Oktoberfest becomes first Certified Regenifiedยฎ beer to receive national medal recognition.

Brewed with Riverbend Malt House certified Regenified malt, this win goes beyond celebrating local grain. It demonstrates that local, regenerative agriculture can produce exceptional beer.

This year's batch of Reset: Oktoberfest has been lagering at our brewery in Rocky Mount since April. We plan to debut it at Fullsteam ATC when we open in the fall.

We at Fullsteam speak of quiet confidence, but sometimes it's important to celebrate.

Today, we do so with Allagash Brewing Company, Cerebral Brewing, and our Southern farm and malt partners.

Long live the Southern Beer Economy.

// FULLSTEAM
// LUCKY'S DEN & PATIO

Even in the few days since filming this preview, the restaurant/bar/private room build-out has come a long way.

Drywall is up! Door is installed! Stuff is still everywhere!

But it feels like a space. No, it already feels like home. Our future forever home that welcomes back , Astronomy on Tap, artsy films, ADSR...and that's just the letter A.

Most importantly, that welcomes back U.

We're eyeing Labor Day.

Many, many thanks to:

// FULLSCREEN THEATER ๐ŸŽฅ

We didn't touch the amazing theater, and it's currently available to rent. (details in bio).

But we've got a ways to go with Stoker Club, our event space and full catering kitchen.

Expect a vibrant event space for 100+, with a four-story welcoming /reception area, plenty of tables, A/V and TV, and optional access to the 100-seat Fullscreen Theater.

The theater door leads to a still-to-be-built private patio under the Lucky Strike smokestack and into Fullsteam and Lucky's Den, which will be...

Wayfinding!

Weirdly, some World Wide Web search results don't make it obvious we're not yet open.

We're not yet open. Getting there!

This one goes out to yโ€™all who miss Working Manโ€™s Lunch, or who want a full-flavored beer with a little less alcohol.

Half Day Brown Ale is a true North Carolina session beer. And to be perfectly honest with you, it doesnโ€™t fit neatly into a box.

Which is why you might need to ask your favorite store to carry it, or grab it from us at .

Weโ€™re figuring out if this is a one-time thing or the beginning of a beer series. Your support helps push it to the latter.

Lucky's Amber Lager is [almost] always the answer.

But for yesterdayโ€™s quiz? That beer was Lucky Straw Farmhouse Ale, brewed in 2017. Congrats to Brian for being first with the correct answer.

We loved the Luckyโ€™s typography so much that we brought it back nearly a decade later for Luckyโ€™s Amber Lager โ€” a malty counterpart to our best-seller, Paycheck Pilsner.

Look for (and ask for!) Luckyโ€™s throughout the Carolinas, at the ballpark, and soon between the Lucky Strike water tower and smokestack at .

WIN A FULLSTEAM POCKET TEE!

Hidden in this collage is the name of first 12oz beer we brewed with 100 percent local malt and our own cultivated wild yeast we called "Madison."

What was the NAME AND STYLE of that first beer?

We'll randomly select a winner from all the correct answers posted here and send you (well, maybe you...if you answered it right and were randomly selected) a free pocket tee!

Hint: the beer was *not* a rice lager called Ritz Origami.

04/24/2026

And I didn't even mention the Oktoberfest that's getting six months of proper lagering!
