🦝 Spring is here and so are raccoon kits! During this time of year, raccoons give birth to litters of 2–5 kits, often in hidden areas of homes and businesses.

While they may look like smaller versions of adults, they remain dependent on their mothers for nearly a year!

Common spots include:
✔️ Attics
✔️ Chimneys
✔️ Crawl spaces
✔️ Wall voids
✔️ Under decks and porches

Although raccoon kits may look small and harmless, you should never try to handle them yourself. They can still bite and scratch if they feel threatened.
