These two live songs were recorded at My Father’s Place in Roslyn, NY with Paul Errico on keyboards and Paul Avrutin on upright bass on September 19, 2026.

The first track is a cover of the classic Jimmie Rodgers song “My Carolina Sunshine Girl” and the second is “Goin’ Down To Laurel”.

My studio version of “My Carolina Sunshine Girl” was originally released on the 2002 Jimmie Rodgers tribute album “Any Old Time”, which was nominated for a Grammy in the traditional folk category.

“Goin’ Down To Laurel” was featured on my 1978 debut studio album, “Alive on Arrival”.

The studio recording was originally released in 1979 as a free single in the first 50,000 copies of “Jackrabbit Slim”.
