In 2026, Iโll be offering Breath & Body: Somatic Fitness both in Durham and online. https://www.jiyu.us/breath-and-body
In-person sessions (Mondays at 6:30pm) will focus on moving in relationship to our environmentโhow we adapt, respond, and find ease within real-world conditions.
Online sessions (Tuesdays at 6:30pm) will go deeper into the details of breath and healing movement, tailored to the specific needs of the participants.
If thereโs one thread you can pull to improve nearly every aspect of your life, itโs breathing.
Where my work differs from most is its pragmatism and integrationโnot aesthetics or blind faith in any system. What works, works. A truly holistic approach. The goal isnโt to master a method, but to find balance in health, build autonomy, and learn how to learn. I donโt separate mind/body/spirit or internal/externalโ itโs all one integrated system. Nothing exists in a vacuum.
When youโre healthy and in balance, you can learn anythingโand handle whatever life brings.
