Hart Leadership Program
The Hart Leadership Program at Duke's Sanford School of Public Policy challenges students to practice the art of leadership in public life.
The Hart Leadership Program is known for small classes that combine excellent teaching and mentoring with community-based projects that focus on leadership development. We also run programs that combine community engagement, critical reflection, and intensive study. These include Service Opportunities in Leadership (SOL), the Hart Fellowship, the Leadership and Arts Policy Internship (LAPI) grants, and the Political Engagement Project (PEP). Detailed information about each program and our events is available on our website.
