Our newest hospital helpers have officially been named!
After more than 280 Duke University Hospital team members submitted hundreds of ideas, three winning names rose to the top: FloBot, R2-DU and WALL-D.
These delivery robots are part of a pilot program designed to transport medications and supplies throughout the hospital, helping frontline teams spend less time making routine trips and more time focused on patient care.

Brad Dugai, 55, underwent chemotherapy and radiation to treat his pancreatic cancer, but the tumors kept coming back. New possibilities start TODAY.
For nearly 100 Durham 9th graders, the first day of school is also the first step toward a future healthcare career.
At Durham Early College of Health Sciences, students can earn both a high school diploma and a healthcare credential or associate degree at no cost while gaining hands-on experience through a partnership between , Durham Technical Community College and Durham Public Schools.
Supported by a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies, the school is helping create pathways from the classroom to careers right here in .
