I’m celebrating a new completed illustration, “Tree Heart,” a followup to “Brokenhearted Kaleidoscope.” In this work I wish to evoke the sustainability, connections, growth, and wisdom that come from facing challenges while rooted in self love.

I left a few of my optimistic messages out in the wild yesterday and I’m excited to see if there is a response! More to come. 🙂

Does anyone I know near Durham have a large format scanner? The largest I can do is 8.5x11 and I need to scan this 11x14 piece for a background.

My art will be part of the most-loved annual group show in Durham! The Golden Belt Community Show with art from across the Triangle! Artists’ reception on Fri. 2/20, from 6-9 pm but you can also view during open hours.

* “Emanate” means sharing my strengths and peaceful energy with others as they share their strengths with me.

* It relates to my essential self and being a force for good in a sustainable way.

* I will radiate compassion and authenticity, and draw more of the same into my orbit.
