Duke DBS Raas

Daal Bhaat Shaak Raas - Duke's competitive raas-garba team Dal Bhat Shaak (DBS) Raas is one of Duke's competitive dance teams.

We are a group of friends that came together in hopes of sharing and expressing our heritage to our friends, family and community through raas-garba. Raas-Garba is a folk dance from Gujarat, India which focuses on energy, expression, formations, and religious themes. We hope to share our love of dance with you throughout the year during on-campus performances and at national competitions!

DBS Raas is back for the Spring 2022 semester! We are Duke's premier raas-garba team. Raas and garba are traditional Gujarati dances from India that everyone is free to participate in. If interested, please fill out the google form below! No prior experience is required!

Hey everyone!! Our makeup audition is TONIGHT at 8:30! We will be in the Arts Annex, which is the third bus stop from East Campus (just past the Smith Warehouse).

If you can't make it today, we will have on final makeup audition on this Sunday! This will be at 6 PM in the Arts Annex :)
