Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Durham Fire Department and all emergency services personnel who responded so quickly and professionally to the fire at Durham Rescue Mission’s Storr Chapel.

Because of your courage, expertise, and rapid action, an almost 100-year-old fixture of our community was saved, and hundreds of Mission residents and clients were kept safe. Your dedication to protecting lives and preserving our community’s history will never be forgotten.

We need your help! Right now, the Good Samaritan Inn is in urgent need of size 6 & 7 diapers — we currently only have enough for about the next week.

With nearly 60 children in our care, essentials like diapers and pull-ups are a constant need. We’re also always in need of size 3T/4T & 4T/5T Pull-Ups.
