Earth Mouse Designs

Another rose made it into the ground this week. They are part of a chain of events that got started on what my spouse and I now call "Questionable Decisions Day"

But hey, most of my questionable decisions, like my spouse, have turned out okay, so I see no reason to start being reasonable now!

It's hot, and I'm not fast, but the dead hedge branch pile is coming along nicely. I'm making a small garden bed in front of the branches and transplanting some climbing roses that have previously been confined to pots. FL

I know I haven't posted about any art project progress recently, but planning and preparation is happening behind the scenes!

We just had some trees taken out of our yard (good thing too, the really giant one was rotting from the inside out!) and I requested that the branches be left. I'm not done, but I'm making a dead hedge like pile that will become the support for some climbing roses and maybe even some berries.

The removed trees free up sunshine for some fruit trees as well as helps free up space for some bigger projects. Plans are underway for painting the privacy fence as well!

Come out for the 3rd Friday artwalk in Farmville and visit to see me, and lots of other cool artists!

And when you find other "ugly" folks and see the beauty in each other, it is absolutely amazing!

I am still slowly washing the van. The slowness is intentional, and not just because it will annoy the Someone who is willing to call the cops to try to enforce their wanna-be HOA nonsense. I am finding ways to enjoy the process. Hence silly faces in the dirt.

I also put a post in our neighborhood group about the Troopers planning to ticket all the cars on the street if Someone keeps complaining. The entire neighborhood is now mad at Someone.

Going through my sticker collection, looking for some things that might make an appearance on the "abandoned" van. I had forgotten that I had this decal, and I think finding it right now is hilarious.

I am finding that "snapping" isn't always a bad thing. I will happily keep snapping free of the asinine constraints of Empire
