Four years ago--almost to the day--we went on our first filming tour. It was five cities in two weeks, starting in Chicago.
This past week, it felt right being back there in Chicago. Five shooting days in four different locations. We even got to make some really interesting stuff with some people who we saw on that very first tour.
Speaking of tours, the Chicago river architecture tour is an all-time great. Special thanks to he clients who recommended it. (I'm not paid by the riverboat company, for what it's worth. Just a riverboat enthusiast.
Once a month or so I host live (virtually live, at least) deep-dive conversations with interesting people who do interesting things. No sales or redirects. Mostly just for the love of the game.

All Hail South Texas. Delta managed to destroy a teleprompter through what I had thought to be an impenetrable amount of cushioning, but we nevertheless had a truly stellar shoot here in San Antonio to kick off our 2026.
Whataburger is better than In-N-Out.
We wrapped up 2025 at home with Tim, with 48 hours to spare.
Lots of fun stuff in this one. More teleprompter than usual, due to the precise wording we needed on some of the modules. New 50 mm lens on some of the medium shots. Onward to 2026.
