We feature palomas the classic cantina drink last couple of weeks our customers really liked them a pleasing cool drink is one of mexico`s most beloved cocktail they will be in our feature menu tuesday-thursday for $ 5 a great pairing drink for our thursday`s feature antojitos which are smoked jalapeno chicken tinga Empanadas and cochinita pibil tacos. For this hot weather what about some cold soup this is our take on the gazpacho made with local tomatoes and watermelon with shrimp ceviche to continue how about some huevos how they are made in Motul in the state of Yucatan. Provecho.
Our feature Antojitos for today are quelites and poblano rajas quesadillas de comal, empanadas Oaxaquenas with chayote and mole de novia they will pair well with our drink special for today micheladas $ 4 and palomas $ 6 don`t forget every Tuesday bottle mexican beer $ 2.50

The short season of our NC soft shell crab it runs from Mid-April to early June they are actually blue crabs that have shed their shell when the right conditions of temperature are present. I like to served them with a watermelon - arugula salad and spicy remoulade. Enjoy!

For Wednesdays our drinks features are Micheladas $ 4 and Palomas ( our take on the classic cantina drinks) $ 6 pair along with our feature menu for today. for Thursdays our duck rabbit draft only $ 3.50 Salud!

I wanted to do justice to my post here are the dishes how could I forget pozole verde this is made by my wife the recipe comes from my mom she always made it for special occasions is been in the family as long as I remember. provecho
I want to share which is one of my wife and I most favorite dishes enchiladas del convento or mineras as how some people call them this brings back childhood memories when we were at the plazas in our hometowns or my mom`s sunday dinner I still remember until this day the smell of tortillas simmering in chile guajillo sauce and lightly fry in the big comal topped with queso fresco . Provecho.
