We are currently watching for Chantal 🌀, she may hit our coast this weekend. Please be prepared with all essentials. I became a pro after Andrew, although it never gets easy, just need to start preparing well in advance. Be thankful if you never need to use it and be grateful if you were prepared. Never, and I will say again, never rely on anyone else to be prepared "for you", this is your responsibility. I can write stories on this topic.

Yesterday, we opted for a low-key day.

Our thoughts are with Texas as they endure so much devastation from this storm.

Drove to our favorite orchard and picked some fresh peaches 🍑 and blueberries 🫐. It was the first time for my husband so more of a reason to be happy with our choice of activity.

Blessed Sunday!!! Today we were able to enjoy our pack relaxing before they ventured through the neighborhood. In the meantime, we follow our dreams, literally had a dream with . In my opinion, I would say that are very similar to hush puppies. My mother would make these with (salted cod stew), but I haven't had this for yearsssss, bacalao is cod fish. And I prefer them sweet and cheese filled.

Yes, I am still here. Thank you for the TWO people who have been asking how I'm doing!

As I mentioned in a previous post, lots been going on, between having to forcibly move from my happy place, ooh how I miss that home and my ONE amazing neighbor. The homeowner had passed away within a month or so of us moving in, and the home became an estate. Then my health just went downhill from there, I did my best to keep my head up and above water. Moving also takes a financial toll, especially when management companies are all about their interests. We found a home, and my husband and I are still married!! 🤪. When it's just one person packing and just two moving furniture, boxes, and appliances and then again one person unpacking and organizing, yes tempers rise and health begins to fail. We are finally kind of sorta settled in. It wasn't easy finding a place, but this "home," which is sooooo much smaller, gives me the outdoor peace I so love and enjoy.
