Meet the faculty at Insight CoLearning for the 2026–2027 school year!

At Insight, our faculty and administrators are more than educators: they’re curious thinkers, lifelong learners, mentors, and community builders who bring care and intention to everything they do.

🧠 Experts Beyond Their Fields
Our instructors bring deep knowledge of their disciplines alongside an understanding of the art and science of teaching.

📚 Masters of the Craft of Teaching
Through seminar-style classes and experiential learning, our faculty encourage students to ask bold questions, wrestle with complex ideas, make connections, and learn through discovery.

💬 Community Builders
Insight educators create meaningful relationships and vibrant learning communities where students are seen, known, supported, and challenged to grow.

Our students may not all become historians, scientists, writers, or mathematicians—but they learn how to think like them: to notice, question, investigate, and make sense of the world around them.

Harmony begins with connection 🤗

This year, we’re diving into our exploration of Harmony: finding unity within difference and discovering the patterns that connect us to one another and the world around us.

We’re reading deeply, examining data, building frameworks, solving problems, learning new languages, and stepping into our community to explore and discover.

Along the way, we’re practicing one of the most important parts of the Insight experience: Noticing 👀

What connections, patterns, or unexpected moments did you NOTICE this week?

Congratulations to Insight’s eight new graduates! 🎓🎉

Last Friday, we celebrated a tremendous milestone in your journey of Agency, Grit, Empathy, Collaboration, Curiosity, Reflection, and Failing Forward. Your cultivation of these mindsets will carry you!

Thanks to Ketty Thelemaque of for inspiring us in an unforgettable commencement address that highlighted our graduates’ resilience, perseverance, and unique stories. We can’t wait to see where their next steps take them!

This week, our community comes together for Showcase, where student work takes center stage.

Not just final products, but the thinking, revision, and persistence behind them.

At Insight, students don’t just complete assignments—they create work that reflects who they are, what they care about, and what they’re capable of.

Showcase is a chance to see that learning made visible.

This is the work. And this is what students can do when it matters.

We also celebrated the graduating class at Insight, highlighting their hard-work and efforts. We're looking forward to celebrating their graduation tomorrow! 🎓

Curious what this could look like for your student? We’d love to connect!

High school students are highly capable, and they are deeply invested in their communities. They shouldn’t have to wait to make a difference.

At Insight, students engage in project-based participatory democracy through Generation Citizen, learn and practice essential skills for supporting themselves and their communities through “Skills with Bill,” and take on individually-matched internships with local businesses.

Day in and day out, Insight students are discovering how to apply their interests and skills to make a positive impact.

Strong relationships don’t replace rigor—they make it possible.

In math and science at Insight, students are expected to engage deeply with challenging material, ask questions, and persist through difficulty.

With support from teachers who know them well, students build both competence and confidence—learning not just how to get the right answer, but how to think through complex problems.

This is preparation for college-level work and for a world that demands real understanding.

In humanities at Insight, students do more than learn content—they learn how to think.

Through discussion, writing, and close reading, they engage with complex ideas, consider multiple perspectives, and learn to support their thinking with evidence.

Classes are built around questions that don’t have easy answers—because that’s what prepares students for college-level work and for participating thoughtfully in the world.

This is rigorous, relevant learning—and students are expected to rise to it.
