We feature some of Monique Holidays paintings in our gallery. Here is one of her latest paintings ❤️.

It has been a long time since I painted on a 24x30 & took a photograph of myself alongside it so, um, here ya go 🥸 Also, my 1st time painting the Shiprock pentacle on a larger canvas. It’s the place I was born and always enjoyed viewing throughout my life 🧡 If you are eager to take it off my hands, I’m selling it for $210. Feel free to message me & I can negotiate part of the Artwork price for shipping/delivery.

🦬 Vintage Native American Moccasins | c. 1920s

This remarkable pair of vintage moccasins likely dates to the 1920s. 🪡Hand-sewn and lined on the interior, this shows the skill and artistry of the Northern Plains region.

Based on their style and construction, they may have been created by Santee Sioux (Eastern Dakota) artisans or possibly by neighboring Indigenous communities farther north, including Anishinaabe peoples. The Santee Sioux traditionally consisted of the Sisseton, Wahpeton, and Mdewakanton bands, whose homelands once extended throughout the Upper Midwest and along the Missouri River.

To my cherished Creation family, I am pleased to announce the completion of the rug I was weaving. I hope this update finds everyone in good health and spirits. Wishing all mothers a Happy Mother's Day! Being a mother is a lifelong commitment, and for single parents, it can be particularly demanding. As a single mother to three sons, I have dedicated considerable time and effort to ensure their well-being, and with faith and my rug weaving skills providing a steady income, I am thriving. I feel blessed to have three wonderful sons and three nali boys in my life. Thank you for your kind words; I appreciate your family's enjoyment.
