I can’t believe you are 5 years old. As you can tell from the pictures, he is the life of the party. He makes us laugh on a daily basis with his silly faces and the things he says. He is my adventurous kid when it comes to trying hard things. He has a huge heart and loves joining in with the older kids.

More Joshua Tree pictures because this national park was beyond cool!

Short story time…a few years ago, we decided to go visit Canyonlands NP and Arches NP (both in Utah very close together) in the same weekend trip. We really thought that would be enough time, but boy were we wrong. We absolutely loved Arches and ended up spending a second day there.

Fast forward to our visit to Joshua Tree NP. I imagined it being a desert with little to no other sights to see. So wrong again! We absolutely loved it! So many rocks for the kids and adults to climb.

All that to say, take the risk and go to the park that doesn’t sound exciting, because it might surprise you!

We finally got our Saguaro National Park badge, FIVE years later. ✅💪🏼

We came during 2020 👀 and the visitor’s center was shut down. Since we were close by, we decided to finally get our badge.

Don’t forget to grab your Junior Ranger book and badge when you visit the national park sites. They are usually free, you just have to ask a Ranger at the Visitor’s Center. All ages are allowed to participate!
