In 2015, I completed the Flagstaff Fearsome Four. After eyeing the test for four years, I have decided to complete the Seven Durango Summits. I hope you enjoy!
You will travel up and down iconic Durango vistas as well as maybe some lesser known summits.

Even at 4 and 7 there was a little running run up Hogsback, one of the iconic summits of the Seven Durango Summits. A Very nice day.

I started the Seven Durango Summits as a personal project that others would maybe also like to try and accomplish. This Saturday the Seven Durango Summits will be stood upon by runners and hikers alike with the shared memory of David. While I never had the privilege of meeting David, I’m proud that this is what he, and now friends, want to do on his birthday. Run with smiles and good memories tomorrow everyone.

As part of the Durango running club virtual progression race series, I went and did three of the summits. What a beautiful morning. Are you going to do all seven when Perins opens this year? In a day/week/month? Hope everyone is staying safe, , and having a great weekend.

Yesterday on August 7th, 2019 I completed what I am calling the Seven Durango Summits. Summits included Smelter, Pautsky, Animas, Perins, Baldy, Skyline, and finally Hogsback. Total stats were 8hr 12min 54sec. 30.08 miles. And because gps watches are funny like that... 7781 gain, 7903 loss
