Questions are welcome and answers shared so we may all learn together the "POSITIVE" aspects of weight training and overall fitness. I am an AFAA certified personal trainer. My goals are to give my clients a program that will provide them with a stronger body and healthier lifestyle. I consider it a privilege to train clients who are eager to learn how to make the most of their fitness abilities.

Since I started my full time job and still personal training at night my own gym time has taken a hit. When that happens just be sure to make the time you get quality. Everyday is not realistic for most people..but you can maintain and even grow if you put in a few days a week. Keep lifting!!!💪

5:15am workout at the gym. Week 2 of a full time job underway. Fitting it all in..definitely a challenge. Before when fitness was my full time job it was much easier to be constantly aware of my work outs and diet. Now its "trying to get it in" and "Eating the best I can when I can". I see the other side now. KUDOS to the working health nuts STILL GETTING IT DONE!! (Or at least doing their damnedest trying!)

Well, it's the last day of July. I struggled for 10 pull-ups..I got up there 9 times tonight. I picked up a bit of muscle trying everyday though! The battle will continue. Here is to a new month!

Summertime is also vacation time. Try as we might nothing fitness wise goes exactly as planned..or it gets set by the wayside altogether. What's important is to do the best you can, get what you can and pick up your routine when you get home. Enjoy yourself. Health and fitness should be part of your life..not a ball and chain around your ankle. HAPPY SUMMER!!

First morning of Positive Reaction Kids Bootcamp 2014...The "troops" did amazing! Fun group of kids! Relax folks, the future leaders of fitness and healthy living are going to do just fine!!!

6 am bleacher workout at East High school tomorrow...if you haven't tried it then its time!! My kids will be there..bring yours too! As parents we need to set a great example for them!
