Your Christmas Bags of Blessings made it safely to Ukraine, and the Children LOVED them all! Last week, the children at the orphanage enjoyed a program from our Dream Team of Volunteers! First they gathered in the Big Hall (which we renovated 10 years ago) to sing joyful Christmas carols, watch a drama about The Birth of Jesus, answered riddles and played games AND THEN.... The children went to their classrooms to receive and open a Christmas Bag of Blessings, prepared just for them! All the kids send their greetings, hugs and a BIG Thank you to everyone who participated!

Another of our sweet boys from the orphanage has lost his life defending his country. Only 19 years old, Igor Tkachenko served as a combat vehicle commander in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The local villagers met the Hero in a living corridor of flowers on the way to his funeral and burial yesterday.

Igor was a sweet and happy child, and we were blessed to know him these past 10 years. He was a shy boy, who grew into a confident and capable young man who will be missed by all. We pray that the seeds that we planted will have taken root and that he is now in the arms of Jesus. Rest in Peace, son. 💙💛

Cyndee & Darrell are getting ready to bring another load of medical supplies to our team in war torn Ukraine. Hope Now volunteers inside of Ukraine provide practical and spiritual support to widows, orphans and soldiers who we personally know. For soldiers, the most requested item is an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK). And one kit saves more than just one life!

Our goal is to assemble 60 IFAKs and 8 medical bags, and to pray over them in Atlanta - all before June 20, 2024.
