Last week’s Safety Strong Luncheon spotlighted critical conversations on construction safety, mental health and su***de awareness. Gregory Sizemore, ABC National’s VP of Health, Safety & Environment, shared invaluable insights on total human health and industry-leading safety initiatives, and we also honored our 2024 STEP recipients.
The most heartfelt moment of the lunch was presenting a mega check for $11,302 to , an organization dear to our hearts that provides countless resources to prevent su***de in Virginia. Our Hampton Roads Young Professionals set out to raise $10k for AFSP-VA; thank you to our ✨generous✨ members who went above and beyond to exceed the goal.
Safety takes the cake on being the most important aspect of the construction industry, and it starts with us. Together, let’s prioritize construction safety and mental wellness.
