Volunteer of the month, our lovely Lisa Veatch. She reached the 1000hr milestone and volunteers at the USO Warehouse at Fort Belvoir on a regular basis to make sure USO deliveries are pallet up. Moreover, Lisa is committed at Washington Dulles International Airport with Travelers Aid and Honor Flights. Further, she is a substitute teacher in our local community. We think she never sleeps. 🥰Thank you for all the hard work, you are truly a GEM. ,

Only two weeks remain for Giant Food shoppers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar during checkout to support the USO and the people who serve. The USO provides service members and their families with programs and services that boost morale, ease the stresses of military life, and strengthen their well-being.

Congratulation to our volunteer of the month, Andrea! She is our sweetheart, retired military and is given back to our community with generous donations. Her generosity is seemingly endless. Andrea assists filling in shifts that are not covered and always has a smile for you. We are humbled to have her on our team. Thank you for all the unwavering support.

USO Dulles Airport had another successful sendoff. We had the pleasure hosting the Warrior to Lordes Pilgrimage group again. As always, we very much appreciate our community partners of the Washington Dulles International Airport for a smooth transition to their departure gate. , . Not only do they manage both academic commitments and a busy sports schedule, but also still find time to volunteer.
