My name is Brandon Avenarius, owner and founder of Elevated Landwrx. I was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. With a strong work ethic, a passion for delivering results that last, and a drive to build something of my own, I started Elevated Landwrx.

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team and help streamline project ex*****on from planning through completion.

Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting field and office operations by securing necessary permits, communication progress with customers, creating accurate as-built drawings, and overseeing billing activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, technically skilled, and capable of handling multiple tasks across a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and track the progress of multiple HDD projects simultaneously.
• Communicate with field crews, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings based on field redlines.
• Review field data and production reports to compile accurate project documentation.
• Assist in generating and submitting billing documentation, including progress billings, time and material tracking, and change orders.
• Maintain project files and ensure all documentation complies with company and client standards.
• Support project managers in scheduling, procurement, and coordination of permits and materials.
• Address client inquiries regarding billing and project status in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in underground utility or HDD projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
• Understanding of horizontal directional drilling and utility construction processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and utility maps.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when creating technical documentation and billing.

Advanced Directional Drilling is seeking individuals interested in starting a career within the underground utility construction industry. Individuals will be exposed to all facets of the industry: drill operation, excavator operation, utility design, and much more.

About Advanced Directional Drilling

Advanced Directional Drilling is a fast-growing underground utility contractor headquartered in Dubuque, IA. We offer directional drilling, hydro excavation, and utility locating services throughout the Midwest. Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of the job site to conduct horizontal directional drilling
• Operate excavator, hydro excavator, concrete saw, core drill, etc.
• Expose utilities to verify their depth and location
• Rig pipe to drill for pull back
• Set hand holes, pedestals, and other enclosures
• Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment
• Ability to read, understand, and implement utility construction prints
• Setup and cleanup of work site including traffic and pedestrian control
• Reads utility locates and coordinating day lighting of these facilities
• Aid in the restoration of any landscapes disturbed during construction
• Ensure that the workmanship conforms to specifications and local codes
• Operates vehicles for transport to job site.
• Performs proper maintenance by greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs on equipment.
• Perform other duties as required/assigned

Desired but not required qualifications

• CDL class “A” driver’s license
• Valid DOT Health Card
• Strong verbal communication skills with crew, customers, and vendors.
• Experience operating excavator and hydro excavator
• Experience using a utility locator
• Knowledge of general utility construction design and standards

My view as I sit on the Milwaukee pack out while I enjoy Austin's first solo coax splice. I only had to yell at him once! Hopefully the customer's cable comes back on.
