Sign Fabricator (Hours: 10 hour days, Monday-Thursday, Tuesday-Friday, Overtime as available)

Duties:

Using production equipment such as radial arm saws, sanders, manual and powered shear and brakes.
Using basic manual and power hand tools such as wire cutters, wrenches, corded and cordless drills, tape measure.
Using paint equipment including HVLP guns, scale, respirator.
MIG welding aluminum and steel
Work toward continuous quality improvement
Stay current with changing technology, including software programs
Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures

Skills:

Reading and interpreting drawings and instructions
Precisely mixing paint to provided formulas.
MIG welding aluminum and steel

Experience and Education:

High School or equivalent.
Sheet metal and welding experience preferred
Sanding and paint experience preferred

This full time position involves set up, cutting, and applying vinyl graphics to substrates
Other duties include the set up of files and patterns to be used for Computer Aided Manufacturing
Skills needed include utilizing computer graphics programs, reading and interpreting drawings and instructions. Utilizing production equipment such as paper plotters
basic tools such as tape measures, precision blades (x-acto), scissors
Experience and Education desired include A. or B.S. degree. Experience using CAD or graphics software programs. Experience utilizing graphics design or CAD programs within a manufacturing setting is ideal.
