Today is the Ward Four Special Election. Polls are open till 8 p.m.

"For the Special Election to be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, voting centers will be available. Any registered voter Residing in Ward 4, City of Dubuque may vote at any of the following places in this election. Said vote centers are herein listed below:
-St. John's Parish House, 1401 Locust St
-Fogarty Hall, 1240 Rush St"

To all who voted, thank you for using your voice at the ballot box!

We can move forward together when we continue to keep in touch with our elected officials. And while I am not elected this time around, we still can unite and raise our voices together.

Ways we can continue this movement and be involved include:
1) Paying attention to City Council meetings and following up with council members on key issues.
2) Find a board or commission you are interested in and put your name in to be appointed (the County also has these)!
3) Join in with friends to elevate an issue and talk to city council members (especially at Council Meetings).
4) VOTE always in local elections.

Some hot topics I'm tracking include:
-Budget spending conversations
-ARPA spending
-Partnerships and leveraging key stakeholders
-Climate action
-Food sovereignty

A huge thank you to those who have helped our campaign. Along the way, we have met so many neighbors who want an avenue to move our city Forward.

Our campaign was built on community, and we will continue to lead post-November 2. No matter today's outcome, we have shown the city can do better and we have neighbors wanting to step up to the table in a variety of leadership roles.
