Today, Syntero joins our community in honoring and celebrating Juneteenth—a day that marks the delayed but monumental arrival of the news of freedom to enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation
Juneteenth is a profound reminder of both enduring strength and the long, ongoing journey toward true equity.

Today, we pause to celebrate Black joy, resilience, and culture, while renewing our dedication to breaking down barriers to mental health care and fostering a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We had a blast at Hilliard Pride! 🌈 Huge thanks to Cara, Nicole, and Shantel for representing Syntero.

But the real MVP of the Syntero booth? Shantel’s daughter, Averie! 🌟

Averie took a well-deserved break from the nearby splash pad to step up as our chief ambassador. She made sure everyone walking by knew exactly what Syntero is all about, perfectly explaining that we "help persons' feelings." 🥰 She also insisted that every passersby couldn't leave without some "squeezies" (our stress balls) and stickers.

Last week, we brought the entire Syntero family together for our All-Staff meeting. In our line of work, taking time to recharge and connect with one another is essential for our own well-being and the quality of care we provide.

We want to send a huge shoutout and thank you to the Dublin Arts Council!🎨 They led our team through some incredibly engaging, thought-provoking activities centered around art and mental health. We loved exploring how creativity can be such a powerful tool for wellness and mindfulness.

The weather at Delaware Pride definitely tested our reslience, but when the sun broke through the clouds, the energy, love, and community spirit were absolutely unmatched. Thank you to everyone who braved the downpour and stopped by the Syntero booth to chat, grab some resources, and share a smile with us. You proved that support always shines through!

Today, on his birthday, we're celebrating Lawrence Witherspoon and the incredible leadership he brings to Syntero's Board of Directors.

As Associate Director of Partnerships at the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Lawrence has dedicated his career to strengthening children, families, and communities through advocacy, collaboration, and service. With nearly two decades of experience in human services, he brings a deep commitment to family well-being, emotional health, and community impact to his work and board leadership.

We are grateful for Lawrence's passion, insight, and dedication to advancing Syntero's mission. Please join us in wishing him a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead!
