We have to move this weekend, so the timing isn’t great, but who can be mad at new babies??

Good morning. We are using social media for good and reaching out to all of our connections for help and prayer. God is moving Team G Ranch. We currently rent 17 acres in Dripping Springs. Our landlord sold to a developer and we just found out last night that we have to be out of our place by May 21. We have to find a new place, get financed, and pack up all of our stuff, and live stock (cows, horses, goats, pigs, chickens) and be out in one month. We do have a realtor and have someone working on financing so that’s not really what we need. What we are asking for is prayer and for you to share any connections that you may have. We have been looking on all of the housing pages and have MLS listings sent to us. But it feels like we need to reach out to our community for support.
Here’s what we are looking for:
-15 to 20 acres of land in Texas (we would love to stay in or around the Austin area because of our family and jobs, but we know that might not be possible with our constraints)
-Has to have a liveable house on it that we can move into
-Ideally, fully fenced, so we can put our livestock right on it without having the added project of putting up a fence in the next month
-Our max budget is around $375,000
We know that God is preparing a place for us, and we are replacing our fear of the unknown with the excitement of what’s to come next. If you know of anything that might help, please reach out. Maybe there’s an old rancher who doesn’t have anyone to leave his land to that would be willing to sell to us within our budget. Or someone who wants to sell to someone who won’t develop the property. We are grateful for any leads you send our way that fit the criteria and we will do our best to keep you updated. Beef prices are expected to raise another 15% this year. Texas experienced a horrible drought this year, forcing ranchers to sell their herd low or buy more hay than before. Hay prices were 3-4x higher than usual, if you could find it. We have made 4-6 hour round trip drives to keep our herd fed. And even today, when Texas is frozen, cows still need to be fed. Support local ranchers and pray for the cowboys.

This is the perfect experience if you are getting ready to dispatch your own meat bird flock or want to see if it's something you want to get into. You will leave with plenty of knowledge and your own packaged chicken.

Materials required:
• Notepad and pen or pencil if you want to take notes.
• Clothes and shoes you do not mind getting wet and dirty.
• Cooler of ice to transport your chickens home.
• Refillable water bottle.
