Do you have nice guy/gal syndrome? Do you find yourself feeling frustrated, unfulfilled, and lonely even though you sacrifice so much to keep others happy?

It’s okay to put yourself first. It doesn’t have to be selfish. In fact, it’s more generous.

The better you are at filling your own cup to the brim, the more you will have to give others.

What is your motivation fuel source?

Need for validation? Desire to prove yourself? Crush the competition? Spare others from suffering?

The list could go on. Some fuel sources, although effective, can be corrosive as well. Be careful what you put in the tank!

Sometimes we conquer fears by running toward them!

How do we strike the balance between striving for growth and accepting ourselves as we are?

One way is to detach your value as a human from accomplishment. When you do, you’ll be free to accomplish as much or as little as you would like, but from a place of peace.

What’s the secret to a happy relationship? Who the hell knows…but giving each other the benefit of the doubt is as good a strategy as any.
