Flashcards are a great tool for beginner readers.

They can help children practice common sight words and improve their reading skills. Flash cards can also be used to add more variety into your child’s reading practice.

Have them see how fast they can read through the cards or display the cards out on the table and have your child work like a detective to find the word that you called out!

KPA students get to participate in weekly, hands-on science lessons! In this science lesson students applied what they learned about precipitation by getting the shaving cream cloud to release water (food coloring). This lesson also discussed the water cycle, how clouds form, and why water releases from clouds.

We explored Beatrix Potter’s “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” in French class! Through this story students practiced many different French vocabulary words.

To practice some French vocabulary on your own take a trip to a local grocery store or even your refrigerator and name these vegetables in French!
