Meet sweet Evelyn! 🐶 She visited us today for a mass removal procedure.
While not every lump or bump is cause for concern, it’s always a good idea to have any new or changing masses/growths checked by a veterinarian. Early evaluation can make a big difference in the health of your pet.
Evelyn did amazing today, and we’re wishing her a comfortable recovery! 💜

What are hives (urticaria)? 🐶
Hives, also called urticaria, are raised, swollen bumps on the skin caused by an allergic reaction. They can appear anywhere on the body and are often very itchy!
Common causes include:
🐝 Insect bites or stings
🌿 Pollen, grass, or mold
💉 Vaccines or medications
Most cases of allergic reactions are mild and resolve with veterinary treatment. If your dog develops facial swelling, difficulty breathing, sudden vomiting or swelling around the throat, seek veterinary care immediately, as this could be a life-threatening allergic reaction.

This sweet boy came to see us for an ear infection. While medication can treat the current infection, recurrent ear infections often signal an underlying issue, such as allergies or exposure to excess moisture.
👀Keep an eye out for these common signs:
Head shaking
Excessive ear scratching
Red or inflamed ears
Brown or waxy discharge
A strong “yeasty” odor
👉🏼If your pet is experiencing any of these symptoms, don’t wait. Early treatment can help prevent discomfort and more serious ear problems!

🐾 Please help us welcome Hailey to the team! 🙌🏼
Hailey has been a veterinary technician since 2021, but her passion for animals started long before that. As a teenager, she worked in boarding and doggy daycare.
When she’s not at the hospital caring for your pets, you’ll likely find her spending time with her own pet crew at home—6 cats and 2 dogs!
We’re so excited to have Hailey on our team 🐶🐱
Sometimes the bravest patients come in the smallest packages. 🐾
This sweet kitten came to us with a severe injury to his right hind leg that left him unable to bear weight. After a thorough exam, a hind limb amputation was the best option to give him a pain-free future.
While he was under anesthesia, he also got neutered, making it one less thing to worry about down the road.
He did amazing during surgery, recovered beautifully, and is already on his way to living his best three-legged life. Cats are incredibly resilient, and we can’t wait to see all the adventures ahead for this little guy! 🐱✨
