بنعي الفنان الكبير هاني شاكر اللي بعتبره عمي التالت وعمري ما انسى وقفته جنبي لما جدي كان حيقدمني عشان اغني فى الاوبرا و مالحقش ساعتها الفنان هاني شاكر وقف في ضهري وقام بالدور اللي جدي كان حيعمله وقدمني وحضر معايا كل البروڤات وكان خايف عليا وبينصحني ودعمني ودي كانت اول مره اغني في حياتي وكان هو الداعم الاول بعد جدي .. ربنا يرحمه يغفرله ويسكنه فسيح جناته ويصبر قلوبنا وقلوب كل محبيه.

The Empty Chair 🪑

I walked along the beach to escape reality, to heal my soul, and to gather my thoughts. With the very first step, I felt the sunlight on my skin—it instantly reminded me of the warmth of your touch. Birds soared and chirped overhead, yet all I could hear was your laughter, still echoing in my ears, making me smile every time.

The wind brushed gently against me, whispering softly, as if your hair were dancing around me while your voice sang from a far, distant place I could neither see nor reach.

I took a deep breath and inhaled the scent of the ocean, but this time, it was laced with the unforgettable fragrance of you. I watched my footsteps sink into the warm, wet sand that tickled my feet—the very same spot that once witnessed our love. But now, the sand seemed soaked with tears that would never dry.

I saw and heard the waves rushing toward me, crashing against my legs and shouting—as if they were urging me forward, telling me to run to you and call your name aloud so you could hear it.

I searched for my shadow, but I couldn’t find it. That’s when I realized—it wasn’t mine at all. It was yours, following me wherever I go.

I fled to a nearby restaurant, as if I could outrun a past that already haunted my soul. I sat down to cool off and catch my breath, watching the sunset through the window from a distance—as if I were seeing it for the first time. It sank slowly into the heart of the ocean, like the sky was gently closing its eyes, erasing our memories, dreams, promises, and the entire album of our photos that once filled it. It felt as though the horizon whispered: This is the end of a chapter—one you never imagined would close.

Now, I’m beginning a new one—alone. I don’t know anything about it. I feel like a lost child in a foreign land—without parents, without direction. Just fear, sadness, and a hollow ache remain inside me.
To reassure myself I whispered: Though no one can replace you, and distance keeps our bodies apart, our souls are entwined, forever bound in the depths of love.

Then my eyes landed on the empty chair across from me—my new silent companion from now on.
