"Mortality from the diseases I treat has dropped four-and-a-half fold in the last six decades," said Elazer Edelman, M.D., Ph.D., today during his Address at the Fall 2022 Presidential Lecture Series event at UVU (Utah Valley University).
During his presentation, titled “Engineering, Science, and Medicine: Partners in Translation,” Dr. Edelman wove a fascinating roadmap showing cardiovascular and endovascular advancements in science and medicine dating back centuries leading to the cumulative breakthrough in healthcare in the early 1940s tied to the introduction of new technologies.
We are extremely blessed to have Dr. Edelman on our board of directors, and we're grateful he was able to share some of his valuable insights here in today.
{NOTE: plans to have a recording of the full speech available online shortly. So as soon as we have the link, we will share that on our various social platforms.}

Apparently things got so busy at the Utah State University Eastern campus yesterday, that our VP of Communications, David Politis, was unable to share info during his time Price, Utah at the Eastern Utah Economic Summit.
But in between sessions he took a few moments to visit with Greg Dart, Campus Administrator for USU-Eastern.
Look for more details on David’s presentation in the days ahead.
