Hi everyone, as many of you have noticed... we haven't had many eggs lately. Seems we got hit with a double whammy. We had a couple ladies act to 'motherly' and at the same time we have several ladies going through their yearly molt. Both cause egg production to drop. So the two 'motherly' hens are spending time together in a separate coop. While they all are getting plenty of Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae to provide the protein and calcium they need to get producing again. Hopefully soon we'll be able to put out a couple of dozen a day again! Stay tuned.
