The future of inclusive housing is taking shape. 💜🏡

This week, the Adam’s Way Steering Committee gathered to share ideas, tackle challenges, and continue building a vision for a community where people of all abilities can live with independence, connection, and purpose.

We’re grateful for the leaders, advocates, and community members helping move this project forward.

Collin is a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan, and attending a game this season was something he had advocated for.

Through Livin' The Dream, The Next Step Programs' In-Home & Community Supports program, we were able to help make that happen! ⚾

More importantly, this gave Collin the opportunity to work on his independence outside of his regular community, and enjoy a night out doing something he loves. 🏟️

We're happy to report that Collin and Direct Support Professional Peter had a marvelous time (despite a few raindrops)!

We’d like to introduce you to a new face. Meet Gabe! 👋

Gabe works at Five Below, and since The Next Step Programs began supporting him, he has shown tremendous growth and confidence on the job.

When he first started years ago, Gabe focused on greeting customers, sweeping, and taking out the trash. Now, he’s impressing his managers by taking initiative and asking for additional responsibilities, including unpacking shipments and restocking merchandise.

We are so proud of Gabe’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to step outside his comfort zone to learn new skills. Keep up the great work, Gabe! 🎉👏
