The Bucks IU is hiring Head Start Teachers for our early childhood programs at:
• Lower Bucks Early Learning Center – Bristol, PA
• Middle Bucks Early Learning Center – Warminster, PA

Who Can Apply:
• Candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field).
• Bachelor’s degree or PA teaching certificate is a plus.

What You’ll Do:
• Create a warm, developmentally appropriate classroom
• Support children’s growth through play, early literacy, and exploration
• Partner closely with families and your Head Start team
• Build a positive, inclusive classroom community

Back to School Night gave families at our Bristol Borough Head Start a chance to meet with teachers Ms. Queta Johnson-Hollman and Ms. Aidy Lacoix Jimenez, learn what to expect in the classroom, and ask questions about the year ahead.

Back to School Nights took place across Bucks IU Early Childhood Programs throughout September, bringing families and staff together as the new school year began.

Rain or shine, safety doesn’t stop! ☔️

For Child Passenger Safety Week, Bucks IU Child Passenger Safety Technicians checked equipment and worked with our drivers to help make sure students are transported safely. Every student deserves a safe ride, and having the right seat is part of making that happen.

This week’s celebrates Ryan Krumpe from our Facilities Maintenance team. Here’s Ryan adding some finishing touches to the new Middle Bucks Early Learning Center. It’s one of the many details our Facilities team handled to get the building ready for the people who use it every day.

Bring more hands-on STEM learning to your classroom with the PDE STEM Endorsement through Bucks IU. Course 1 begins October 21!

Course 1 will create a solid foundation in STEAM Education by introducing each of the STEAM disciplines: science, technology, engineering, art, and math, alongside their academic standards. Across four courses, participants will strengthen their approach to problem-solving, collaborative learning, and communication.

New for the 26-27 cohort: The program is offered entirely online!

Students at Bucks IU at Pearl S. Buck celebrated with games, face painting, ice cream, music, and plenty of dancing at their PBIS picnic!

Events like this give students a chance to have fun together and build positive connectors that help make the school a positive and welcoming place for everyone.
