A little back story: supporting our veterans has always been important to me. My father served in the reserves when I was a kid. My Great Uncle Lenny, who recently passed away at the ripe age of 95, served in the Pacific during WW2. My Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Uncle all served. My very dear friend, who is like a brother to me, is currently a LCpl in the Marine corps.

This summer I am committing to hike 75 miles of the Colorado trail to raise awareness of PTSD. 100% of your donation will go directly to helping the Nine Line Foundation support our veterans. Your good intentions will not be misused.

This past weekend we cooked duck! Yes that's bacon wrapped duck.

Tonight we made stir fry!

Tonight the husbands cooked dinner, while the ladies kicked back outside. Coconut shrimp with a sweet chili dipping sauce to start. Then chicken in a Thai curry sauce, Brussels sprouts with tamari and fish sauce, and kimchi fried rice topped with a runny egg. Delicious!!!!

Last night we made Bacon Grit Fritters with a Buttermilk Chive dipping sauce. Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, and Collard Greens with Bacon! Delicious!

Great demo today! Chili lime chicken wings. Shrimp in a mint chimichurri. Vietnamese spring rolls. And chocolate mousse!

Great class tonight! Black bean salsa stuffed avocado. Seared salmon with a honey chive compound butter, creamed spinach, and a summer salad with avocado dressing! Delicious!

Great class tonight! Vietnamese spring rolls with a garlic soy dipping sauce to start. Then chicken Wellington, potato au gratin, and roasted broccoli with bacon and fig balsamic. Delicious!!!

Clams casino, flank steak with Grilled pineapple salsa, roasted potatoes with bacon and sweet onions, and grilled asparagus with lemon. A delightful class!
