Happy Derby Day!!🏇Have you seen our “Museum Bees” by Trace Mayer? These are small, handcrafted art pieces created in Louisville, KY, from antique frame fragments and vintage, detailed ornaments, jewelry etc. Each one is hand signed by Trace Mayer along with the initial of the most recent Derby winner. They are currently signed with an “S” for 2025 winner “Sovereignty.”

This beautiful late 19th century desk features a burl wood roll top front with interior compartments and writing surface. The lower section includes two cabinet doors for additional storage.
The drawer is constructed with Knapp joints(pin and cove) used primarily between 1870 and 1900 which helps to confirm the desk’s age.
This desk is a lovely example of the Eastlake/Victorian era furniture.
