19th Century Manor — New Life Underfoot ✨

This historic home deserved a floor that honored its character. Before a single tile went down, a lot of prep work went into getting this old floor perfectly flat — the kind of detail you never see but makes all the difference.

We installed a stunning 24x24 porcelain checkerboard that delivers the timeless marble checkerboard look, without the marble maintenance. Classic, bold, and perfectly suited for a home with this much history.

How do we finish the exposed ends?
With craftsmanship.

We use what we call a “baby miter” — a subtle, refined cap that protects the edge while honoring the imperfect beauty of Zellige. It’s how we finish all of our handmade tile installations.
