Saturday morning’s weather is expected to be below freezing and a bit windy, so the planting that we originally planned to do will be put off until next week. Because of the weather, there won’t be a lot to do, so there’s no need for people to show up unless you have plans to work on your own plot or check on something in the garden.

Once the weather breaks, Saturday and Tuesday mornings are workdays. You can come for an hour or many and really make a difference!

We’ll have our first workday of the Sandy Ridge garden season on Saturday, March 14, starting at 10 a.m. There’s a fair amount of cleanup to do, including removing plants from last fall and weeding. Depending on the weather, we might even try to plant some early season veggies.
