To All Our Valued Customers and Friends,
It is with humble gratitude and great sadness that we announce the closing of Bluefin Poke at 170 South Virginia Street. Our lease expires on June 30 and we were not able to come to an agreement with the property owner on how to move forward with our restaurant.
This has been a very difficult and emotional and we are heartbroken to say goodbye. We the Fernandez and Chong families would like to thank the community for supporting our small family business. We are grateful for your continued support and loyalty; you are the main reason for us to stay open through out the pandemic/riot/inflation and all the hard times. We were able to weathered many storms as long as we had.
We are extremely thankful and blessed that so many embraced our restaurant. We could not have done it without you. This is not an easy decision and is very hard for us to consider, we've done our very best, but all good things must come to an end.
We all wish you the very best and thank you once again. We will miss you all so very much..

Yu Chong, myself and our entire family would first and foremost like to thank all of the kind hearted people from all walks of life that helped clean up our restaurant today. We are humbled and grateful for the support that we received from our community during this difficult time. Last night was a nightmare, but today was remarkable. Seeing all the volunteers come together and helped rebuild the city was heart warming. We are touched beyond words. Thank you all for reaching out and for the words of encouragement. With that said, we are still on track to open tomorrow at noon. Again, we can’t stress it enough, how thankful we are to everyone. This won’t be possible without your help.

During these unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are happy to inform you that we are opening June 1st, Monday. Schedule times are Monday-Saturday from noon-7pm. The Bluefin Poke family would like to stress the importance of health and safety of all our loyal customers and our dedicated staff. We take the coronavirus seriously and are committed to provide the healthiest environment possible. Please be assured that we are following the guidelines established by CDC and Washoe County Health Department to maintain the highest standards for our guest and employees to feel safe.
