What’s this little marker doing in your neighborhood?

It marks a sewer easement, giving Raleigh Water crews access to the underground sewer lines that serve our community.

With more than 2,500 miles of sewer lines beneath Raleigh, keeping easements clear is essential. That's why you may see crews removing debris, brush, and trees in your neighborhoods.

They’re making sure our sewer system stays safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community.
