Ramona Roller Rink

Due to the weather. We are going to move our egg hunt to next Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 2pm. We do apologize for this. But with no heat yet and bad weather outside. We decided that it would be best to reschedule. We will still have soooo much candy and some Easter baskets prizes!!

We are not sure where the rumor started that we were opening in 2 weeks but it is false. We still have WAY too much stuff to do. We do apologize to those who saw the fake article.

We have been getting more messages about an opening date. We just wanted to let everyone know that there is no planned opening date yet. We will make a post about opening as soon as we know. We have tried multiple times to have an opening date and things just run later than expected so we are not planning one yet so we don't keep disappointing ourselves. 😅

Update for today:

We have HEAT!! at least a little. We will have 7 total furnaces. 4 in the basement and 3 in the ceiling. 4 are installed and 3 more to go! We will also have Air Conditioning!! Yay!!

We are working finishing up installing the insulation, putting up the walls and planning out rooms! It has been hard to get out there when the weather was so bad but these last few days have been wonderful and we got more stuff completed!!

Thank you for your continued support through all of this. Our little community has been great! We have had some wonderful people who see us there and just stop by to help in any way they can and we are so greatful for any help we can get! Thank you!

We have a bit of an update!
Here we are doing some insulation! We had some cutting, some stuffing, and some stapling! It felt good to get back to work and start to get things done on the inside!

🛼Update for today: Good evening everyone! I hope everything is going well for all of you! Things are slowly moving along. Things have started to arrive for the emergency sprinkler system. We are also waiting on the pump for this system. Once all of this is in we can work more on the electric, walls, HEAT 🥶(it's been too cold to work inside), the floor will be started, and everything else we need to have completed! Slowly but surely things are coming together. 😌

As always, thank you for the continued messages and comments of support. I know things are going slow but we are working at getting everything in place for the professionals to get things done.

What an amazing turnout for our Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween Party at the Ramona Skating Rink! 👻
We had such a fun evening filled with laughter, costumes, candy, and community spirit — and it wouldn’t have been possible without all of YOU!

A huge thank-you to Thomas Lane and Andy Curtiss for helping put this event together and making it such a success! 🙌

I would like to thank Mr.George Kusmac of Decatur, for donating pumpkins for the Ramona Skating Rink Halloween party on October 25th.
Madi, Robin, and myself had a great time in his field picking them. But I still have a dilemma, as I'm still about 50 medium sized pumpkins short. So I'm asking if someone would care to donate pumpkins for the cause. We will come and pick them up, heck we will even pick them.
