As FFA members, we are grateful for the freedoms that allow us to lead, grow, and serve our communities each day.

Chapter members and State Officers had the opportunity to tour Harrington Raceway, led by Mark Short, Executive Administrator for the Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund. During the tour, members got a behind-the-scenes look at the horse paddock, met with the TV broadcasting team, and connected with drivers, trainers, and the in-house veterinarian. It’s always exciting to see the many industries that tie into agriculture and to gain a deeper appreciation for just how diverse and impactful this field truly is 🐴🏆

Earlier this month, the Delaware FFA State Officer Team spent four days at Base Camp building a foundation for the year ahead 🙌

During their time together, officers focused on identifying their individual strengths, strengthening communication skills, and learning what it truly means to work as a team. Through hands-on activities, meaningful conversations, and moments that pushed them outside of their comfort zones, they grew both as leaders and as a team ✨

This experience challenged them, brought them closer together, and prepared them to serve Delaware FFA with purpose and intention in the year ahead!
