Claymont -- The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists a lane restriction on some of the ramps of the I-95/Naamans Road interchange. The ramps will be closed one at a time starting with the ramp from Naamans Road onto NB I-95 on Saturday, June 13th from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. The next ramp to close, still on June 13th, will be the ramp from SB I-95 onto Naamans Road.

On Sunday, June 14st, the ramp from Naamans Road onto SB I-95 will start, then the crew will move to the ramp from NB I-95 onto Naamans Road, again working from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Detours will be posted.

The dates have been changed from the end of May due to unforeseen circumstances.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of helping to celebrate 175 (!) years of service at The Church of the Ascension. Congratulations to the team for such a legacy of service to our community.

Had a great time at Knollwood Community Day — thanks to all of the organizers and groups who came out to share their resources and help kick off the summer!

This past weekend, the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) and Delaware State Police implemented their new Electronic Speed Safety Program on northbound I-95 in the Churchmans Marsh work zone.

This new program has proven successful in maintaining the safety of our DelDOT employees as they conduct their work on Churchmans Marsh, and has also decreased the number of speed violations and crashes in the area.

Please continue to drive responsibly and be aware of all speed limit changes in your area.
