The SBC Annual Convention is underway. As a Church plant in this denomination we care deeply about what happens this week.

Pray for messengers who are bold, biblically grounded, and unafraid. The SBC has done extraordinary gospel work around the world. We want to see that continue — and grow stronger.

Pray for faithfulness this week. 🙏

Last Sunday we sat in Lamentations 3. A book about devastation with some of the most hopeful words in Scripture.
His mercies are new every morning. Not every good morning. Every morning. 🧡

Sunday we welcomed a new family into membership at Citylight Church. They stood up front, made their vows, and the church received them. That's how it works — not a transaction, but a commitment. People binding themselves to a body, and a body binding itself to them. We're grateful they're a part of our family.
