No. 1 and No. 54 are officially taken.
That leads me to believe Deebo Samuel and Bobby Wagner may not be returning to Washington this season.

Playing sports my entire life, jersey numbers have always meant something to me. So with the Washington Commanders officially releasing the rookie jersey numbers, it got me thinking about the numbers I grew up loving.
🥅 35 because of Mike Richter with the New York Rangers.
⚾ 20 because of Howard Johnson with the New York Mets.
Funny how certain numbers stick with you forever. What jersey number meant the most to you growing up? 👀

The College Football Playoff already expanded, but should it go all the way to 24 teams? 🤔🏈
