Although we are a horse-centered club, I took the opportunity to have a STEM activity for our August meeting. The kids made solar ovens out of pizza boxes and used them to make s’mores. Such a fun, easy, and yummy activity!

Everyone loves ice cream on a hot summer day! Stop by Marmy’s in Smyrna tomorrow evening for a sweet treat between 5 and 8 and support our club’s riders 🍦🍨

First time Lawn Mower competitors right here! Everyone better watch out for these girls next year 😁

Congratulations to all of our 4-H kids at the State 4-H Show at the DE State Fair on Friday! Most of their classes were in English tack even though the pictures show them at the end of the day after various fun classes like Barrel racing and Costume!

Congrats to Paloma and Lily for their 1st and 2nd placings in the 4-H State Horse Judging Contest at the Delaware State Fair today! They did a great job and celebrated with rides and fair food afterward.

In lieu of our monthly meeting, the kids enjoyed the spoils of their fundraising efforts and went to Frontiertown. It was a great day and so much fun!

Another first this year - we had Horse Judging competitors! Lily and Paloma participated in the county judging contest and will be competing next at the State Fair 😁

Our 1st Spring Fling! Wet weather did not deter the kids from outside fun, as evidenced by wet pants and soggy shoes! Looking forward to next year 😁
